Dr. Ryan McAlpin
Dr. Ryan McAlpin was born and raised in Orange Park, FL. He Graduated from Ridgeview High School in 2000 and then continued his education at the University of North Florida where he earned his Associate of Arts degree. Dr. Ryan then moved to Gainesville where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition and a Doctorate of Medical Dentistry from the University of Florida in 2008.
Dr. Ryan’s interest in dentistry began when he was 16 when he started working at his father’s dental practice. This early introduction has allowed him to develop an understanding of the importance of the doctor – patient relationship. Dr. Ryan strives to provide high quality dentistry in a comfortable and caring environment. Dr. Ryan enjoys all phases of general dentistry but takes pride in helping patients overcome their fears and anxieties.
Dr. Ryan’s commitment to continuing education has led to an expansion of dental services he provides for his patients which include using laser therapy to treat a myriad of dental/oral issues in a relative painless experience, using Invisalign retainers to correct abnormal bites and straighten teeth, and offering oral sedation to help high anxiety patients receive the dental care that they need.
Dr. Ryan and his wife Jessica have two children, 1 boy and 1 girl, a dog, and 2 cats. Dr. Ryan enjoys playing music, fishing, soccer, and traveling with his family.
To give back to the community, Dr. Ryan donates to the Catty Shack Ranch, American Cancer Society, American Diabetes Foundation, American Epilepsy Foundation, and is the past president of the Clay County Dental Society. He also provides pro-bono care to patients of the Clay County Dental Clinic.
